Mobile Climate Control (MCC) has initiated the development of a new, cutting-edge 260,000-square-foot manufacturing and research facility in Brampton, Canada. Distinguished guests in attendance included Mayor Patrick Brown, Councilor Harkirat Singh Toor, and senior representatives from MCC, Panattoni Development Company, Nexrock Design Build Inc., and Turner & Townsend.

As a substantial long-term investment, this new site represents a strategic expansion of MCC’s Canadian footprint. Once operational, the facility will house advanced manufacturing, engineering, and logistics functions, generating over 550 new jobs in the region.

“This groundbreaking is a pivotal advancement for MCC and the wider Mobile Thermal Solutions division,” said Jimmy Karttunen, Senior Vice President & Chief Strategy Officer of Mobile Thermal Solutions. “Brampton provides the infrastructure, skilled workforce, and collaborative environment essential for our growth. We are pleased to contribute to the city’s economic development.”

The facility will become MCC’s Canadian headquarters and a center for innovation, enabling the design and delivery of next-generation climate control solutions for commercial vehicles and industrial markets. Beyond manufacturing, MCC’s investment will enhance Brampton’s tax base and encourage collaboration with local suppliers, educational institutions, and workforce initiatives.
