Mobile Climate Control (MCC) continues to make steady progress on its new 260,000-square-foot manufacturing and research facility in Brampton, Canada. The latest drone footage highlights a key milestone in the construction process, with the interior concrete slab now being poured.

This development marks an important step forward, as the completion of the slab will enable the next phase of the project—preparations for relocation and installation of operations within the facility.

As part of this transition, MCC has been actively preparing a comprehensive pre-move strategy over the past several months. Multiple internal workgroups, in close collaboration with external partners and vendors, have been working to ensure a structured and efficient relocation process.

Key focus areas include:

  • Building strategic product safety stock to secure supply continuity
  • Planning phased relocation of production equipment
  • Implementing new or improved initiatives across safety and environmental standards, and facility workstreams

This proactive approach is designed to ensure that MCC is well prepared to manage the complexity of the relocation while maintaining operational stability and supporting future growth.

The new facility represents a significant long-term investment in MCC’s North American operations. Once completed, it will serve as MCC’s Canadian headquarters and a center for advanced manufacturing, engineering, and logistics.

The project continues to reflect strong collaboration between MCC, its development partners, and the City of Brampton—supporting both industrial innovation and regional economic development.

Key Highlights

  • 260,000-square-foot advanced manufacturing and R&D facility
  • Investment exceeding $120 million
