A Strong Safety Culture Shared Across All Our Facilities

The MCC Poland facility marks 200 accident-free days, reflecting a safety culture and the same high standards and commitment to health and safety applied across all VBG Group operations worldwide.

The MCC production facility in Poland has achieved an important milestone: 200 consecutive days without a workplace accident. This accomplishment reflects the daily commitment, care, and professionalism of the local team—and their shared focus on working safely, every day.

This result is built on consistent behaviors that are fundamental to how we operate at MCC and across the VBG Group, including:

  • Following health and safety rules and procedures
  • Correct and consistent use of personal protective equipment
  • Proactively identifying risks and responding to unsafe situations
  • Reporting incidents, irregularities, and near‑misses to prevent future accidents

While milestones like this are encouraging, they are not a goal in themselves. What truly matters is maintaining a strong and sustainable safety culture—one where safety is a natural part of everyday work and where everyone feels responsible and empowered to speak up or stop work if a risk is identified.

“Reaching 200 accident‑free days is something we can be proud of, but it is the way we work that matters most,” says Bartłomiej Starościak, General Manager.
“At MCC, safety is a shared responsibility. The same high standards and expectations apply across all our plants and facilities, and this milestone shows what is possible when people take care of themselves and each other.”

The approach to health and safety demonstrated at our Polish facility reflects the same high level of commitment applied throughout all MCC and VBG Group operations worldwide. By focusing on awareness, responsibility, and continuous improvement, we aim to ensure that everyone returns home safely—every day.
