Mobile Climate Control to acquire Carrier Corporation’s bus air conditioning business in the U.S. and Canada
Toronto March 22nd, 2011 – Mobile Climate Control, MCC has entered into an agreement to acquire the North America bus air-conditioning business from Carrier Corporation, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX). Carrier is the world’s leader in high technology heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration solutions.
Carrier’s North America bus business manufactures air conditioning equipment for transit, intercity, school and shuttle buses in North America and posted sales of $63.5M USD in 2010.
