Introducing new EcoTravel

MCC to show the newest members of the EcoTravel roof mounted bus air conditioning family at Busworld.
The EcoTravel 20+6 delivers the full features of the MCC EcoTravel line including 100% fresh air, integrated exhaust, interior overpressure control and passive cooling. This in a low profile inline condenser/evaporator package that delivers 20 kW of cooling from the main system and enough condenser to support an additional 6 kW driver’s evaporator.
The EcoTravel 32 compact gives 32 kW of cooling, enough for a standard city bus, in a compact low profile parallel condenser/evaporator package. The unit is being introduced to the market in time to meet new vehicle architecture requirements driven by the new environmental protection EPA 2010 regulations in USA for diesel engines.
Both units feature extensive use of aluminum and composites to keep weight at minimum, high performance heat exchangers, standard brushless motors and advanced controls.
