Renewed focus on the
European bus market

The European division of Mobile Climate Control has been growing from strength to strength over the past year. We have expanded our facilities and we have established customer teams close to our customers, to provide application and design support as well as QA, sales and aftermarket.

Our convector center focuses on new convector technology, materials, installations improvements and specific customer adaptations while our HVAC center works with both custom designed integrated units and customization of Roof- or split AC units and defrosters. Both centers work closely together with the global R&D focusing on new HVAC programs, inventions, refrigerants, regulations and filtrations.

In Norrtälje, Sweden we now have a heat chamber and venturi pipe air flow measuring equipment, where we also perform CFD analysis etc. With support from the full size (articulated bus) climate chamber and team in Toronto, we are fully prepared to support all the market’s needs.

Our brand new production facility is up and running, strategically located in the very center of Europe, in Olawa, Poland. By bringing production closer to major European Bus Manufacturers and Body Builders we not only shorten lead times but also cut transport costs.

In Olawa we produce the full range of the bus component program, from convectors in standard lengths to customized versions, heaters and defrosters. We will also add our production of integrated HVAC unit supplied to Scania, as well as our broad range of standard Bus AC, roof units and split units to the same facility.

Prod uction in Poland handles not only final part assembly, we also have a high grade of vertical integration where we produce all sizes of coils, valves, a wide range of wiring harnesses and other components designed and used in our products. This to meet the high demand for short lead times, customization and engineering support.

In addition to the two sites in Sweden and Poland, we have a customization center close to some of our important customers in southern Germany.

In line with our vision of supporting our customers not only with products but also improvements in their production, we have application engineer resources available at customers’ location to perform test installation of the UWEPEX piping system (low weight flexible non-corrosive pipes with very good isolation), demonstrating its advantages compared to heavy copper piping in production. The time savings on the line are astounding!
