MCC has acquired Hammars Elektroniksystem AB
Hammars Elektroniksystem AB is Europe’s leading developer of electronics for bus climate control. MCC (UWE-Verken) and Hammars Elektroniksystem AB have worked together for more than 20 years.
A final agreement has now been reached between the owners of Hammars Elektroniksystem AB and MCC which acquires the business of Hammars Elektroniksystem AB as per March 1st 2010.
“This deal gives MCC a leading edge in HVAC-electronics for all vehicle types and more specifically ensures our bus customers long term stability within climate control. The MCC’s skills and capabilities now combined with Hammar’s knowledge and experience strengthens our position as the world leading vehicle climate company. We can now both develop and manufacture electronics in-house,” says Clas Gunneberg, President and CEO Mobile Climate Control Group.
