Assembly in China is on its way!
Mobile Climate Control has already purchased components for approximately 2.5 million USD in China and we are about to expand this business. This spring we will be starting up a new assembly plant in Ningbo, just south of Shanghai to serve our European and American customers in China. Ningbo is an important trade center and is China’s third biggest port.
Mobile Climate Control will soon be up and running and supplying our client's Chinese production with condensers, climate units and other products. Next up are heater valves, with production due to start in April. By May we expect defroster kits (with or without A/C) for bus application to start. Our target is to have more than 20 direct labor in assembly by the end of 2011. This is the beginning of our production expansion in China, to serve our global customer base.
