2 Application Engineers

Mobile Climate Control is in a period of major expansion on every market. We are urgently looking for two enthusiastic application engineers with the right background and experience to join our engineering teams in Sweden or Poland. More than 500 people work worldwide for MCC with custom engineered HVAC systems for the growing commercial vehicle industry.

Years of Experience: Minimum 3

Education & experience

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • HVAC experience preferred
  • Experience from the bus and/or the Off Road (Construction, Mining,  Forestry, Material handling, Agriculture) industry is an asset

Knowledge & skills:

  • 3 to 5 years experience in technical sales, application engineering or relevant engineering
  • Understanding of electrical motors, switches, blowers, fans, heating elements, contactors, circuit breakers and fuses
  • Basic knowledge of 12v/24v DC and low voltage AC (120, 220, 400 VAC etc.) components and associated wiring
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical systems
  • Able to read/interpret technical specifications
  • Familiarity with control systems
  • Familiar with MS Office
  • Able to work independently in a fast paced environment
  • Good social skills and willingness to meet customers
  • Spoken and written English required. Other language skills are a plus.

Brief job description:

  • Support the sales organization in technical discussions with customers
  • Establish HVAC solutions based on customers requirements
  • Compile and present product requirements
  • Link and co-ordinate information between customers, sales & product development/engineering
  • Investigate and put together regulatory requirements for products
  • Participate in preparation of bid/proposal documents and cost calculations
  • Participate in quality and change request issues
  • Liaison and periodic travel to end customers
